With the adoption of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), the European legislature wanted to ensure a uniform and manageable data protection regulation in Europe. The General Data Protection Regulation also contains new requirements concerning data protection efforts and data management of companies. It includes for example the requirement for a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) as well as the subsequent consultations of the supervisory authorities concerned. In the future significantly higher demands are placed on the data protection documentation than before.

Infringements to the Basic Data Protection Ordinance may be penalized with large fines in the future (up to EUR 20 million or 4% of global revenues).

The provisions of the regulation are largely indetermed and national and international data protection law will be more complex as a result of the new regulation.

Data privacy still does not have to be a "show stopper"!

We help you keep an overview of the data protection jungle, avoid the massively increased fines, and continue to operate your core business efficiently.
